The first-ever ‘Rudd Award’ winners were announced at a special ceremony at St Peter’s Church last night {Friday 18th November}, with a raft of Ruddington favourites celebrated for their contribution to the local community. Ruddington Fields Firm Announces Further Acquisition

Software company Ideagen Plc, which has its Head Office on Ruddington Fields Business Park, and employs around 1,200 people, has revealed it has entered into a “definitive agreement” to acquire ProcessMAP. In June, Ideagen itself was taken over by Rainforest Bidco Limited, a newly-incorporated wholly-owned subsidiary of funds managed by Hg Capital. However, it’s continuing to trade under the Ideagen brand as an already trusted name in software solutions for regulated industries. Organisers of the first ever ‘RUDD Awards’ have just announced the 18 finalists – individuals, businesses and community groups from the village who’ve been shortlisted from over 300 nominations. The inaugural ‘RUDD Awards’ were launched in July 2022 by RVCP, Ruddington Village Community Partnership, to celebrate locals who’re making a difference to life in Ruddington, as well as contributing to a thriving ‘community hub and prosperous high street’.
