The first-ever ‘Rudd Award’ winners were announced at a special ceremony at St Peter’s Church last night {Friday 18th November}, with a raft of Ruddington favourites celebrated for their contribution to the local community. Twin Town Teenagers’ Visit

The latest visit to Ruddington by visitors from Grenay, our twin town in France, took place over the weekend. From Thursday the 10th to Saturday the 12th of August fourteen youngsters aged from 12 to 16, accompanied by three youth workers, spent two full days with us. Activities included visits to the Framework Knitters’ Museum and Village Museum, as well as a trip to the Chinese Dinosaur Exhibition at Wollaton Hall and its satellite exhibition at Nottingham University.
