A three week closure of Flawforth Lane next month in connection with Linden Homes’ ‘Blacksmith’s Green’ development has been called off. This had been requested from August 9th to August 27th to enable the completion of the junction into the new estate – also involving widening of the footpath and the installation of a combined sewer. Major Ruddington roadworks which have already been causing peak time headaches for motorists for months are being extended by at least another three weeks.
