Even though the whole of England has been put back under ‘lockdown’ to combat a new surge of COVID-19 infections, our village’s main bus operator says this will not alter the existing schedules of either its Navy 3 or Green 10 services for the time being. Following the announcement that Ruddington will be put into England’s ‘new’ highest level of COVID-19 restrictions to start 2021, our village’s main bus operator says the latest change will not alter the existing schedules of either its Navy 3 or Green 10 services. It’s not very frequently we get snow within the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ in our part of the East Midlands. However, villagers awoke to the first significant snowfall of the winter this morning – much to the delight of our younger residents. Christmas Kindness Continues

An old age pensioner in Ruddington is among those thanking a big hearted but anonymous donor after yet more ‘random acts of kindness’ this Christmas. Traders’ Christmas Gift to Our Village Nurses

Big hearted business owners in Ruddington have given nine local nurses a Christmas gift they won’t forget – a hamper filled with festive goodies from over a dozen of our village shops.
