After being cancelled due to the Coronavirus in 2020, ‘physical’ Remembrance commemorations are being held again in Ruddington this year. The organisers of Ruddington Village Market say this December’s Christmas event will be returning to High Street and St Peter’s Church – after being scaled down last year to take place only on The Green because of COVID-19 concerns. Village transport operators have revealed a Hallowe’en scare for passengers – fare increases for most of their tickets from this Sunday, October 31st. Ruddington bus users will find the cost of their journeys increasing on Nottingham City Transport (NCT) Navy 3 and Green 10/ 10C/10X routes and on CT4N Services 22 & 23. Good News for Ruddington Recyclers?

Village residents who need to visit Ruddington’s nearest household waste and recycling centre will no longer have to book beforehand to do so as of next month. Now that wider COVID-19 restrictions having been eased, Nottinghamshire County Council has announced the advance booking system at its West Bridgford facility on Rugby Road will be removed from Monday November 1st.
