It’s been a great year for our village at the ‘Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards’ – with two winners from Ruddington and a total of four shortlisted . Organised by Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC), each year these awards celebrate the area’s most dedicated volunteers, businesses, organisations and environmentalists. as well as the best of its health and wellbeing, sport and food and drink sectors. Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) has revealed volunteers from Ruddington are up for gongs in two different categories during next month’s ‘Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards’ alongside a singer and keyboard player who runs frequent health and wellbeing music sessions here and a young, Ruddington sportswoman.
