October sees the start of a brand new initiative to encourage Ruddington residents and visitors to patronise our village’s many shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants, takeaways and other retailers – with special offers to showcase the diverse range of products and services available right here on our doorstep. An exciting new initiative to encourage more residents and visitors to use our village centre shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants, takeaways and other traders will launch at the start of next month. It seems there’s an appetite for setting up a real ale micropub in Ruddington – despite our village centre already having seven long established inns. Fayre Grand!

Ruddington’s 2016 Christmas Fayre held on Saturday the 3rd of December has been hailed another success by most of the visitors and village businesses involved. Organised by Ruddington Parish Council, it involved the closure of High Street throughout the day to accommodate numerous undercover street stalls in two large marquees, food and drink sellers, Keyworth & Ruddington Rotary‘s Father Christmas in his sleigh and even an MC!
