Robin Hood Marathon Green 10 Changes

The annual Robin Hood Marathon is taking place this Sunday 29th September which will affect Nottingham City Transport buses crossing the route, including Ruddington’s Green 10 and Green 10C services. Some disruption will occur between 8.30am and 1.30pm. During all of this period: Green 10/10C from Ruddington will follow its normal route to Trent Bridge and then continue along London Road (the Victoria Embankment stop will be closed), and left Canal Street to the Broadmarsh area, where it will resume its normal route to the City Centre. Motorists are facing peak time delays on one of Ruddington’s busiest routes up until this weekend. A burst water main today (28th August) on Kirk Lane means that 24-hour two-way temporary traffic signals have been put in place to control traffic whilst Severn Trent Water carries out repairs to the pipe beneath the road. Nottinghamshire County Council is digging “4 Trial Holes to identify existing services” alongside the B680 just out of Ruddington beyond Sellors’ Recreation Ground. Drivers are being warned to expect major disruption for up to three days – as works take place in Ruddington village centre. Residents, business-people, commuters and visitors will all be affected – as road closures, temporary traffic lights and parking restrictions are introduced.
