Ruddington’s main public transport operator is celebrating yet again – after receiving no less than THREE “Gold” UK Bus Awards, including the ‘Environment Award’. Of course, the benefits of ‘Green NCT – Home of the World’s Largest Fleet of Bio-Gas Double Deckers’ have been felt directly in our village – since Nottingham City Transport (NCT) replaced all our Green 10 buses with these brand new, environmentally friendly vehicles last year. Sunday November 11th 2018 commemorates 100 years since the end of World War One. Ruddington’s Three Spices has again been recognised as one of the best in the country at this year’s “Curry Life Awards” organised by Curry Life Magazine. Louis Sweeps Up an Award!

A 19 year-old Ruddington performer has received yet more national recognition by winning an award for ‘Best Actor in a Musical’. At the weekend Louis Gaunt lifted the The Stage’s ‘Debut Awards’ accolade for his key role in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic ‘Oklahoma!’ after playing the part of cowboy Will Parker in a production at the prestigious Grange Park Opera House in Horsley.
