Louis for the London Palladium!

An 18 year-old Ruddington dancer is getting his big break on stage in the capital this Christmas – with a five week run at the London Palladium. Louis Gaunt is the son of Freedom Dance & Performance principal Stacey Green and started training at the age of four. His talents led him to being offered a full scholarship to one of the top colleges in the country, the renowned Performers’ College in Essex, where he is now in his final year studying professional dance and musical theatre. Freedom Flying High!

Members of Freedom Dance & Performance are celebrating their success at the 2016 “Dance World Cup“.   38 different countries from Jersey to South Africa were there taking part. Among the twelve thousand competitors were thirty young dancers from the Ruddington based performing arts school – who jetted off to Jersey for a week to compete as part of Team England. The great news is that Freedom brought home 2 Silver medals – for Inter Song and Dance Group “Welcome to Wonderland” and the Children’s Hip Hop Solo by Marly-Rae Gaunt.…
