Ruddington Parish Council’s third annual Summer Fayre is being held on The Green this Saturday 21st July 2018, between 12 noon and 6pm. There will be lots to do including David Cox Amusements, Fudge and Co exotic animals, a Punch and Judy show and Hook a Duck. Why not have your photograph taken in the stocks with Ruddington Scouts? Travellers on Sellors’ Field Evicted

Families from the travelling community, who unexpectedly made Ruddington their home recently, have now officially been told to leave. Ruddington Parish Council (RPC) says an eviction notice was served upon the travellers today by the legal services firm it has employed to handle this matter. As we reported last week, a procession of caravans and vehicles rolled onto Sellors’ Recreation Ground off Wilford Road on Thursday teatime (5th July) after the intruders simply lifted the access gate (right) off its hinges to let themselves in! Ruddington’s third annual “Summer Fayre” is to be held on The Green on Saturday the 21st of July, and promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s. After the success of the first two events it’s again been organised for the village by the Events Team at Ruddington Parish Council – and will take place between midday and 6pm. Ruddington’s second “Summer Fayre” is being held on The Green this Saturday, the 19th of August, and promises to be even bigger and better than last year. Fayre Grand!

Ruddington’s 2016 Christmas Fayre held on Saturday the 3rd of December has been hailed another success by most of the visitors and village businesses involved. Organised by Ruddington Parish Council, it involved the closure of High Street throughout the day to accommodate numerous undercover street stalls in two large marquees, food and drink sellers, Keyworth & Ruddington Rotary‘s Father Christmas in his sleigh and even an MC!
