This year villagers and visitors have suffered unprecedented and disruptive roadworks in Ruddington – many of them to facilitate the construction of four major new housing developments on our former village Green Belt. Village Centre Roadworks Postponed

In another strange but welcome turn of events, the planned work by Severn Trent Water around Kempson Street, which was due to start today (Tuesday 30th November), has been called off! Ruddington traders and motorists had been dreading more disruption and delays coming, as it was, straight after Cadent had only just completed its over-running gas main repair work.
