Our main public transport provider has revealed how its services will run before, during and after The Tour of Britain cycle race passes through Ruddington this Saturday, September 8th. If you’re a spectator from outside the village – coming here to watch the 120 top riders speed through – you’re being advised that parking will be at a premium and prohibited along the route itself. Ruddingtonians are encouraged to go along to this village meeting with ideas to help celebrate the Tour of Britain cycle race as it comes through our village. Armistice Day 100 Ruddington Service

Where: War Memorial & St Peter's Church, Church St, Ruddington, Nottingham NG11, UK

On Sunday 11th November, the Ruddington & District Branch of the Royal British Legion will hold a Parade and Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial. Weather permitting, the parade of local organisations will march to the War Memorial before the service. The service starts at 10:45am and will include prayers, hymns and the laying of wreaths at the War Memorial. The Last Post will be played at 11am, followed by two minutes silence.
