Platinum Jubilee Yarn Bomb!

Eagle-eyed Ruddingtonians will already have spotted the appearance of some new, knitted creations around our village – courtesy of the now famous ‘Ruddington Yarn Ninjas’. Following a similar ‘Yarn Bomb’ at Christmas, and one or two changing pillar box toppers outside the Co-op before and after that, marking topical events, the ‘Ninjas’ have been very busy getting ready to celebrate the long Queen’s ‘Platinum Jubilee’ weekend next month. Council Tax Rises Approved in Budget Proposals

As Ruddington residents brace ourselves for a sudden hike in our fuel costs this April, due to the higher new energy price cap set by Ofgem, at least there’s some better news from Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) today. Free Tree Scheme Returns

Rushcliffe Borough Council is offering Ruddingtonians another chance to make our village greener – by applying for free trees for both our properties and the wider community.
