Unusual Rescue from Ruddington Railings!

Just before 8 o’clock this morning (Thursday 14th April) two crews from Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue attended a rather unusual incident – after a caller reported that a young deer had become trapped in iron fencing along Grange Mews in Ruddington. When firefighters from West Bridgford and East Leake arrived at Westgate Lodge, off Wilford Road, they discovered the deer stuck there, in considerable distress. New Drone Team Launches

This week saw the first use of state-of-the-art ‘Eye in the Sky’ technology by Rushcliffe Police – leading almost immediately to two suspected criminals being caught.
