Remembrance Sunday
Come along to The Royal British Legion’s Parade and Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Ruddington – weather permitting – on Sunday 13th November. A parade of local organisations will march to the War Memorial before the service starts at 10.45am on Sunday 13th November. The Last Post will be played at 11am. After being cancelled due to the Coronavirus in 2020, ‘physical’ Remembrance commemorations are being held again in Ruddington this year. The first one is, of course, this Thursday, November 11th, for ‘Armistice Day’ – with a Service of Remembrance inside St Peter’s Church, starting at 10am, to which everyone is welcome.
