An exciting new initiative to encourage more residents and visitors to use our village centre shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants, takeaways and other traders will launch at the start of next month. Ruddington Bus Fares to Rise

Our main village bus operator has announced that it is revising prices from Sunday March 25th. However, it points out that many fares have been frozen for the past four years. Nottingham City Transport says: “We appreciate nobody likes to pay more, but we are no longer able to absorb above inflationary increases in our operating costs and have to pass some of these costs on to our customers.” The new fares will affect passengers using NCT’s Navy 3 and Green 10 Ruddington services. Ruddington Buses Diverted

If you’re catching Nottingham City Transport‘s Navy 3 or Green 10 into or out of the City Centre early or late this weekend beware that overnight diversions are taking place. These will also effect NightBus N48. It’s because the old pedestrian bridges across Collin Street between the old Broadmarsh Bus Station and the Shopping Centre are due to be removed between tonight (Friday 5th January) and Monday 8th January. August Bank Holiday Buses

This Bank Holiday Monday, the 28th of August 2017, a Sunday timetable will operate on all Nottingham City Transport services, including Ruddington’s Navy 3 and Green 10. This means you can get direct access to and from Rushcliffe Country Park all day by catching a new, eco-friendly Green 10C bus. Grouprider tickets will be available all day, offering unlimited travel for five people (minimum 1 adult, maximum 2 adults). The Navy 3 or Green 10 buses from the city run by Nottingham City Transport can be caught directly to The Green or to any of our village venues. For the first time this year, there’s a special downloadable “RuddFest” discounted travel voucher (just click on the image below). On Bank Holiday Monday, the 29th of May 2017, a Sunday timetable will operate on all Nottingham City Transport services, including Ruddington’s Navy 3 and Green 10 buses. This means direct access to and from Rushcliffe Country Park all day by catching the Green 10C. Enhanced timetables which include earlier and more frequent buses for Ruddington start TODAY (Sunday 29th January). Most of the improvements are to our Navy 3 service which runs through to Clifton seven days a week via a revised route.
