Ruddington Man Hospitalised By Reported Assault

Police investigations are continuing after an incident last night in our village which left a man needing hospital treatment. Emergency services were called to an address in Leys Court, Ruddington, at 9.21pm yesterday evening (Wednesday 12th October) after reports of an assault. Police tell us that the victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital, where he remains. However, his injures are not believed to be life threatening. Police Car Rammed During Ruddington Pursuit

There were dramatic scenes in Ruddington last night when a police chase ended up in a village centre cul-de-sac. An eye witness reported to RUDDINGTON.info that an unmarked police car followed a vehicle into St Peter’s Crescent, but the driver didn’t realise it was a dead end. Cars Vandalised at Elms Park

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after a number of cars were deliberately damaged outside properties along Elms Park. Furious home owners on the Ruddington estate found long scratch marks had appeared on their vehicles yesterday {1st April}. Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a distraction burglary in our village. It’s after a man targeted a vulnerable woman on Dunblane Road in Ruddington and stole money from her. The incident happened on Wednesday (26 February 2020) at around 6.45pm. Musters Road Burglars Jailed

Two men have been put in prison for a combined 12 years and four months following a string of house burglaries across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. One of these was a break-in at a house in Musters Road here in Ruddington on March 12th this year. Ashley Simpson, 32, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to 18 counts of burglary. Timothy Wilson, 34, formerly of Woodfield Road in Nottingham, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary and two counts of theft.
