Two men have been put in prison for a combined 12 years and four months following a string of house burglaries across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. One of these was a break-in at a house in Musters Road here in Ruddington on March 12th this year. Ashley Simpson, 32, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to 18 counts of burglary. Timothy Wilson, 34, formerly of Woodfield Road in Nottingham, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary and two counts of theft. Gino’s Cooking Oil Crook Convicted

A man arrested on suspicion of stealing cooking oil from Gino’s Italian Restaurant in Ruddington just before Christmas has been convicted at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on two charges of theft. Rushcliffe Police released a CCTV image (right) of the person they believed to be responsible after one of the incidents at the rear of the Church Street premises at 5.05am on Thursday 27th December 2017. The man found guilty of the used oil thefts is 52 year-old Errol Kus from Grantham. Mr Kus was given a conditional discharge of six months for both offences.…
