Motorists and bus passengers can expect delays to their journeys through Ruddington from today through until the end of next week. It’s because two sets of roadworks are taking place – beginning with Cadent laying a new gas main on Clifton Road from January 29th to February 4th. Drivers Warned of January Delays
Ruddington’s motorists are being advised to expect travel disruption this January when tree maintenance work takes place in our village. Via East Midlands is warning that it will be felling dead trees and cutting back overgrown vegetation along the A60 Loughborough Road in Ruddington every weekday from the 14th to the 25th of January 2019 on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council. Ruddington’s motorists should brace themselves for more queues exiting and entering our village – as multi-way traffic signals are put into use at one of our busiest junctions tomorrow (Monday 20th August). Renewal of the road linings at the Loughborough Road/Kirk Lane/Flawforth Lane crossroads is being carried out by Nottinghamshire County Council. Ruddington residents have been looking at their High Street with despair this morning after yet another set of unannounced four-way temporary traffic lights appeared! It was known that parking restrictions were to be put into place from 8am today (Sunday September the 3rd) until 5pm on Sunday the 17th of September to allow work to be carried out on the High Street side of Ruddington Fish Bar (their former pizza takeaway entrance) to re-render the walls.
