Ruddington Bus Fares CUT by 20%

Ruddington’s main transport operator has announced the welcome news that the New Year will begin with significantly cheaper travel aboard our village buses. Nottingham City Transport (NCT) Navy 3 and Green 10 bus passengers will benefit from a 20% cut in its single fares throughout January, February and March 2023 thanks to the government funded ‘Help for Households’ initiative. The standard adult single from Ruddington to Nottingham (and vice versa) will be reduced from £2.50 to £2.00. What’s Happening With The White Horse Car Park?

A Ruddington pub boss says he was ‘shocked’ that Parish Councillors did not wish to renew a popular, long-running scheme to provide much needed extra parking in our village centre. To address the increasing difficulty in finding a space, an agreement was reached back in 2014 between Ruddington Parish Council (RPC) and The White Horse Inn that the left hand side of their car park could be used by village shoppers from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday. Ruddington’s ‘Heat ‘n’ Eat’ to Get Bigger in 2023

It’s been confirmed a Ruddington community venture which started over the summer, offering a chef-prepared, two-course lunch for just £1, will continue into next year – and also increase the number of diners it can accommodate.
