The major work which started in January to upgrade the lakeside Education Centre and its associated facilities in Rushcliffe Country Park is now complete. As the sun shone down this morning {Wednesday 12th October}, The Friends of Rushcliffe Country Park, Rushcliffe Borough Councillors and other invited guests were among those attending the official opening to see all the improvements – including a permanent new café, the refurbished visitors’ centre and conference room, improved toilet facilities and additional landscaping. A Further Four Day Road Closure

Village residents are being warned there’s more disruption ahead for drivers when one of Ruddington’s busiest roads is closed again for major repairs. Earlier this month Clifton Road was shut to traffic for 24 hours after Severn Trent Water workmen turned up to fix a burst water main on a Sunday (January 10th 2021) but there was no one available to fill in the hole and patch the road until the next day.
