New Bus Routes Into the City

Ruddington bus passengers catching Nottingham City Transport (NCT) Navy 3 and Green 10 services to and from the City Centre will find a permanent change to both their routes and bus stops from this week. Bus ‘Capacity Checker’ Launched

Hot on the heels of the Government’s announcement that face coverings will be made compulsory on public transport in England from June 15th, Ruddington’s main bus operator has added a nifty new safety feature to its live online bus tracking. It will let passengers check in advance how busy or quiet their bus may be, so they can plan ahead. Bus Company’s Advice on Face Coverings

Whilst the Government says using public transport should still be avoided during COVID-19 Coronavirus ‘social distancing’ restrictions, Nottingham City Transport is advising that passengers making essential journeys may benefit from wearing a face covering. Late May Bank Holiday Buses

With Monday 25th May being another Bank Holiday, Nottingham City Transport is reminding passengers that the continuing COVID-19 ‘lockdown’ means its Green 10 buses should still only be used by key workers to and from our village – or by people needing to use public transport to Ruddington’s shops to buy essential supplies or for medical requirements. Following the Prime Minister’s latest announcement that people who cannot work from home should now try to go back to their jobs, Ruddington’s main bus provider has issued a statement to clarify the current situation on its services. Ruddington’s main bus operator is reminding passengers that we must travel only for essential journeys until there is a sufficient relaxation of the current government restrictions due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Easter in Ruddington – Exercise, Shopping & Services

As the unprecedented lockdown continues across the UK, to try to halt the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus, this year’s Easter activities and celebrations in Ruddington will be mainly confined to people’s homes plus short trips out for exercise or essential shopping.
