A man who was arrested and charged by Rushcliffe Police in connection with two incidents separated by just ten minutes at our two Ruddington food stores last October has been sent to prison for two and a half years. 44 year-old Keith McLachlan, who admitted robbery, attempted robbery and having a bladed article, was jailed for his offences at Nottingham Crown Court. Musters Road Burglars Jailed
Two men have been put in prison for a combined 12 years and four months following a string of house burglaries across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. One of these was a break-in at a house in Musters Road here in Ruddington on March 12th this year. Ashley Simpson, 32, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to 18 counts of burglary. Two men who were spotted acting suspiciously by an off-duty Nottinghamshire Police Community Support Officer following a burglary in Ruddington have been put behind bars. Robert Sisson, 28, and Roy Sisson, 38, both of Bridgefarm Lane, Clifton, were sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court today (Wednesday 9th August) having previously pleaded guilty to two counts of handling stolen goods.
