After the biggest changes at Ruddington Parish Council for many years, those newly appointed to the most senior positions have been talking to RUDDINGTON.info about their hopes and plans for its future direction. The vote will be taking place on May 6th 2021 with current Ruddington representative Reg Adair standing again for the Conservative Party. As Conservatives across the country celebrate their party’s landslide victory in the 2019 General Election, there was no surprise for Ruddington – with the Tories easily retaining a seat they’ve held here for the past 49 years. In an election outcome which may surprise many Ruddingtonians, Labour has stolen two out of the three available seats on Rushcliffe Borough Council from the Conservatives.
