This year’s Makers’ Night is taking place on Friday 21st June from 4pm until 9pm across several village centre venues. Back in the summer we revealed how the 2023 ‘Ruddington Christmas Market’ would be building on last year’s hugely popular event by expanding to three days. Organisers of Ruddington’s popular monthly market have announced their decision to cancel this month’s event over health and safety fears due to the extreme autumn weather. It was due to be held this Saturday, 4th November on The Green and, as normal, would have featured around 80 stalls, food and drink, ‘live’ music and other attractions. We reported in October how £8,335 had been awarded towards The Framework Knitter’s Museum‘s ‘Shop Improvement Project’ through the Museum Development East Midlands (MDEM)’s Recovery and Reboot Grants.
