Back in the summer we revealed how the 2023 ‘Ruddington Christmas Market’ would be building  on last year’s hugely popular event by expanding to three days. Now, as this most festive of village events draws near, organisers Ruddington Village Community Partnership (RVCP) are revealing more details about what’s in store this year. November Village Market Cancelled!

Organisers of Ruddington’s popular monthly market have announced their decision to cancel this month’s event over health and safety fears due to the extreme autumn weather. It was due to be held this Saturday, 4th November on The Green and, as normal, would have featured around 80 stalls, food and drink, ‘live’ music and other attractions. However, the effects of Storm Ciarán on top of other recent persistent rainfall have made ground conditions on The Green unsuitable. Ruddington Makers’ Night

This event is to showcase over 70 regional crafters and makers – from fine art to jewellery – in various venues in our village centre. This year, Makers’ Night will also have an abundance of stalls and attractions on the village green – including a a ‘Makers’ Marquee’, music, bar and street food. Organisers of our monthly Ruddington Village Market have announced yet another departure from the norm for their festive offering this year; they’re planning to run it over THREE days! Ruddington Village Community Partnership (RVCP) has revealed the 2023 dates and times will be Thursday 30th November 4pm – 9pm, Friday 1st December 4pm – 9pm and Saturday 2nd December 11am – 5pm.
