Machete Threat to Ruddington Householder

Nottinghamshire Police are investigating a report that a 20-year-old man was threatened with a machete whilst holding his child at his home in Ruddington. Officers were called to Leys Road at around 8.30pm on Saturday (10th March). Rushcliffe Police are reporting another burglary on the outskirts of Ruddington – at Wayte Court, off Landmere Lane – last night (Tuesday 23rd January). It happened between 5.15pm and 6.15pm when the intruder got in via a rear door. Duo Jailed after Ruddington Burglary

Two men who were spotted acting suspiciously by an off-duty Nottinghamshire Police Community Support Officer following a burglary in Ruddington have been put behind bars. Robert Sisson, 28, and Roy Sisson, 38, both of Bridgefarm Lane, Clifton, were sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court today (Wednesday 9th August) having previously pleaded guilty to two counts of handling stolen goods. They were both jailed for 13 months. Four Ruddington Arrests Following Bulwell Burglary

A man and three boys have been arrested in connection with a burglary following a pursuit by Nottinghamshire Police this lunchtime. A statement says they were detained by officers at Ruddington Grange Golf Club after being followed a short distance from the Nottingham Knight roundabout at around 12.15pm today (Monday the 3rd of July). A vehicle, which was taken following a burglary in Stock Well, in Bulwell, just before 5.30am this morning, was also recovered.

Police are appealing for information after Ruddington’s former “Body Centre” was broken in to and vandalised over the weekend. The damage was reported by Ryan Charlesworth who ran the building with his wife Rachel as a fitness club and community centre for over two years until they ran into financial difficulties last December.
