Traysi is Targeted!

The current crimewave blighting the lives of residents and traders in Ruddington shows no sign of stopping – after a late night raid on Classic Cuts Hairdressing on the corner of High Street and Charles Street.

Rushcliffe Police reported that the incident took place at 10.18pm on Wednesday (10th January). Owner Traysi Kirk has confirmed to RUDDINGTON.info that her business was the target. She told us: “Stock was stolen and there was lots of mess and damage. Four youths in a dark Ford Focus used a crow bar to smash the side window and enter the salon. They broke into the till which was empty, so took stock and gift boxes from the window display.”

Traysi took some photos (above) before she and her staff set about clearing up the mess. The window has now been boarded up until it can be replaced. Traysi is hoping local residents, or anyone in our village centre at the time of the raid, can help officers to track down those responsible. Also, if you happen to be offered any cut price hair products or gift sets “on the street”, please let them know. Ironically the latest crime took place just across the road from where our Police Station USED to be!

Did you see a vehicle acting suspiciously in the area around this time? Do you have any CCTV that may have captured the car leaving on Church Street /The Green? Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to please contact 101 quoting incident 877-10012018.
