Three Arrested After Ruddington Fight

Three men have been arrested after police officers attended a report of a fight in Ruddington. Two men, aged 42 and 46, and two women, aged 42 and 39, were taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre with injuries. The 42-year-old man suffered a fractured jaw, cheekbone and eye socket in the assault in Easthorpe Street at around 11.55pm yesterday (Friday 29th March). Statistics released by Rushcliffe Police show what most villagers had already realised – February 2019 in Ruddington was a particularly bad month for crime – despite it being a short one! Distraction Thief Arrested and Jailed!

Nottinghamshire Police report they have arrested a man on High Street in the village today (Tuesday 7th November) on suspicion of a number of recent distraction thefts against elderly people. The 29 year-old was initially detained by three quick thinking office workers after he’d approached a 77 year old woman asking for change just after she’d used the Post Office cashpoint.
