‘Ruddy Kind Acts’ Initiative Launches

For the past few Christmases, residents of Ruddington have benefitted from ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ – where a mystery benefactor and his helpers have posted hundreds of envelopes marked ‘R.A.K’, each containing £100 in cash to lucky local recipients in our village, Clifton and Silverdale. Ruddington Celebrations for Charity Grant

There are celebrations at St Peter’s Church this month after the Teso Development Trust charity (TDT), which has been supported by the Ruddington church for over 15 years, won a major grant from the UK government to expand its work in a deprived area of Uganda. It’s the end of an era for Ruddington – as our last remaining public telephone box has just been granted planning permission by Rushcliffe Borough Council for a rather interesting change of use.
