For the second episode of her seventh series of ‘Grand Day Out’ on Channel Five, Susan hits the road to Nottinghamshire – including a visit to Ruddington’s increasingly famous Framework Knitters’ Museum. If Saturday night TV talent shows are one of your weekly treats then you may well have already seen Eliza Gutteridge. Last weekend the 16 year old singer wowed the judges during the blind audition stage of The Voice UK on ITV, and the familiar local surname is no co-incidence because her family is from here. Location, Location, Location!

Ruddington is destined to be back on the national homebuyers’ radar soon after another visit from the popular Channel 4 property programme – presented by Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp (pictured). Villagers were alerted to the filming of an episode of “Location, Location, Location” here when cameras and crew appeared on The Green this morning.
