A major UK software company, which already employs around 900 workers at Ruddington Fields Business Park, says it could create over a hundred further jobs at the site if revised proposals for a new office block and car park are given the nod by planners. It was just over two years’ ago when RUDDINGTON.info reported plans to build a four-storey car park at Ruddington Fields Business Park. After a slight redesign during the planning approval process, it has now been officially opened. Last August we reported how a Ruddington based software company had announced its latest expansion would lead to the creation of around 400 more jobs here – a number which was then raised to 500 posts this spring. Payroll giant MHR has its UK site at Ruddington Fields Business Park – in ‘Britannia House’ (currently being refurbished) and the newly built ‘Wellington House’. A Ruddington based software company has announced its latest expansion will lead to the creation of around 400 more jobs here. MHR, a specialist provider of Human Capital Management Solutions, has opened its newest office building this week as part of its ambitious growth plans. Company directors from MHR joined representatives from the building firm Stepnell and architects Simon Gee Designs for the ribbon cutting at Wellington House in Ruddington Fields Business Park. A Ruddington-based drug development company has announced it’s taken a major step into the American pharmaceuticals market. Quotient Clinical, which has its head office at Trent House on Mere Way and employs around 250 staff, has acquired SeaView Research for an eight-figure sum. The multi-million pound deal sees Quotient expanding its operations into the USA and will see the firms combine their customer portfolios. All new drugs undergo rigorous testing before they can be prescribed or sold and Quotient Clinical has been operating clinical trials with paid volunteers here in Nottinghamshire for around 20 years.
