Ruddington ‘Wakes’ Funfair

This is an annual, traditional, family event.  The Funfair called Ruddington ‘Wakes’, run by David Cox Family Amusements, is on from Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th of June on Sellors’ Recreation Ground/Playing Field, beside Wilford Road.

The 5-day event starts at 5pm on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday and begins from 2pm at the weekend.  Entry is FREE, then you pay per person for each ride.

If you live in Ruddington, walking to the Funfair is recommended. For those not in the village there’s some free onsite parking. Alternatively, except on Sunday, you can catch NCT’s Navy 3 bus service direct to the fair alighting at Paget Crescent bus stop. The Green 10 bus takes you as far as the village centre and back in the evenings and on Sunday.
