It’s the last day of the traditional, family Funfair! Ruddington ‘Wakes’ – on from 2pm today (Sunday 26th June). If you’re a Ruddington resident, walking to the Funfair is recommended. For visitors not in the village there is some free onsite parking. Alternatively, except on Sunday, you can catch Nottingham City Transport’s Navy 3 bus service direct to the fair alighting at Paget Crescent bus stop. Ruddington ‘Wakes’ Funfair

This is an annual, traditional, family event. Ruddington ‘Wakes’ dates back over one hundred years, when the St Peter’s Feast was the start of the school holidays in the village (around the 29th of June). For 2022, the rides and attractions open at 5pm on Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd & Friday 24th and from 2pm on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June.
