Nottinghamshire Police say a 40-year-old man has been arrested during an early morning raid in our village on suspicion of the possession of a firearm. Officers carried out a warrant just before 2.30am today (Tuesday 4th February) at a house on Woodhouse Gardens in Ruddington and recovered what is thought to be a firearm from the property.
