Autumn RuddFest Plans

The old willow tree on The Green isn’t the only big thing that’s missing from our village this weekend. Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st May were also set to be the dates of RuddFest 2020 – Ruddington’s now legendary beer and cider festival. Like all village events – other than ‘virtual’ ones – it was cancelled a couple of months’ ago due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. Now John’s Gone

The number of vacant seats on Ruddington Parish Council has risen to three – following the resignation this week of Flawford Ward Councillor, John Noble. He told RUDDINGTON.info that his decision to leave was purely due to time constraints and him being able to give the council the dedication required. However his departure leaves the council with yet another post to fill – less than a week after no one came forward to contest empty seats in Easthorpe Ward and Manor Ward. Ruddington’s Got Talent!

A new event to round off this year’s RuddFest is providing a showcase for village performers to do their thing on the big stage at The White Horse pub in our village. Ruddfest returns 2nd-5th June 2016

Organisers at Ruddfest, Ruddington’s annual beer and cider festival, said: We are aiming to stock over 150 different beers, ciders and perrys will be making a welcome return in June 2016, with over 150 tipples on offer for thirsty visitors to enjoy.
