RUDDINGTON.info is proud to be part of the fight against climate change by supporting ‘Go Green for September’ – a month long campaign being run by Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and Veolia. The 30-day challenge kicks off on September 1st 2021 and will coincide with both Zero Waste Week (6-10th September) and National Recycle Week (20-26th September). Refill Ruddington

Outlets in Ruddington are being encouraged to join a new scheme enabling the public to refill their reusable water bottles here free of charge – and so reduce single-use plastics.  Rushcliffe Borough Council says it’s looking for environmentally minded groups or individuals to join “Refill Rushcliffe” – for the benefit of both village residents and the many visitors who flock to Ruddington.
