Nottinghamshire Police say a 40-year-old man has been arrested during an early morning raid in our village on suspicion of the possession of a firearm. Officers carried out a warrant just before 2.30am today (Tuesday 4th February) at a house on Woodhouse Gardens in Ruddington and recovered what is thought to be a firearm from the property. Rushcliffe Police report they have executed a search warrant at a house in Asher Lane this morning (Tuesday 23rd July). It was after receiving intelligence from the local community around suspicious drugs related activity at the Ruddington address. Police Inspector Craig Berry told RUDDINGTON.info: “Rushcliffe officers attended the house early this morning and forced entry to find a large cannabis production in a residential property.
