Ruddington Bus Fares to Rise

Our main village bus operator has announced that it is revising prices from Sunday March 25th. However, it points out that many fares have been frozen for the past four years. Robin Hood Marathon Bus Changes

Ruddington’s bus passengers are being warned of changes to their services during this weekend’s Robin Hood Marathon. Sunday’s Full and Half Marathons (24th September) will affect numerous routes including Nottingham City Transport’s (NCT’s) Navy 3 and Green 10/10C on their way to and from the city. This year, London Road will be closed in both directions at the start of the marathon and buses will not be able to serve Trent Bridge between 09:20 and 10:20 and are diverting via Lady Bay Bridge. Village Bio-Gas Buses Enter Service

Ruddington’s very first bio-gas powered double decker buses will begin operating THIS SUNDAY, the 16th of July. A fleet of five dedicated buses are going into service on the Green 10 route to the City via Loughborough Road, Greythorne Drive and Trent Bridge to replace the less eco-friendly, diesel double deckers.
