Dog owners from Ruddington and further afield might wish to take part in a fun morning of canine-centred events in our village on Sunday. The Friends of St Peter’s Junior School are inviting young and old to bring our four-legged friends along for their ‘St Peter’s Dog Walk 2022’ – a mile long stroll around the attractive school grounds off Ashworth Avenue. Still Sweet at 18, High Street!
Sweet-toothed Ruddingtonians have recently been dealt two blows on High Street – with the closure of Julia’s Kitchen cake shop at number 14 last November followed by the loss of Sue Kosciekowski’s much loved traditional sweet shop Sweetie Boutique at number 18 earlier this year. Visitors to this year’s Summer Fayre were delighted to find that Ruddington’s very own traditional sweet shop has reopened – just a couple of doors’ down from where it was before!
