Ruddington Trio’s Fundraising Fortnight

This weekend, three employees from a Ruddington firm are beginning the challenge of walking the Pennine Way in just 14 days – in aid of a local children’s hospice. The trio, who all work at Quotient Sciences on Mere Way, are taking on the 268 mile trek to raise money for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People in Loughborough. Where’s Ma’s Mah Jong Gone?

An appeal has been launched by a member of a famous Ruddington family for an item of great sentimental value which was accidentally given to a village charity shop. Musician Guy Phethean is on the hunt for a ‘Mah Jong’ set, belonging to his mother Kathy, donated to the Nottinghamshire Hospice Shop in Ruddington in the autumn of 2018. Join Ruddington’s Big Purple Party

Don’t worry – there’s nothing political or Brexit-related going on here! Rather, ‘The Big Purple Party’ is an opportunity to help Nottinghamshire Hospice paint the village purple with friends, family and colleagues to help funds for local hospice care.
