New Ruddington Car Park To Open Soon

Ruddington’s first ever multi-storey car park is taking shape – with construction of the eco-friendly, four floor facility along Mere Way now well underway. The new car park is being built for HR and payroll software and services firm MHR by regional construction firm Stepnell. Although it is for employee use only, plans to increase the workforce there to 700 people mean more parking space is now needed. Last August we reported how a Ruddington based software company had announced its latest expansion would lead to the creation of around 400 more jobs here – a number which was then raised to 500 posts this spring. A Ruddington-based drug development company has announced it’s taken a major step into the American pharmaceuticals market. Quotient Clinical, which has its head office at Trent House on Mere Way and employs around 250 staff, has acquired SeaView Research for an eight-figure sum. The multi-million pound deal sees Quotient expanding its operations into the USA and will see the firms combine their customer portfolios.
