Police say they’ve arrested two men after responding to reports of men fighting with weapons in our village – and are now appealing for witnesses.
Officers were called to the incident on Sellars Avenue in Ruddington at just after 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 25th March). One man is said to have suffered minor injuries.
Two men, aged 25 and 45, were located, arrested on suspicion of affray, and taken into police custody.
Detective Constable Ryan Atkin, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are working hard to understand the circumstances surrounding this incident. We’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or any drivers who may have recorded dash-cam footage to please get in touch with us by calling 101, quoting incident number 591 of 25th March 2020, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
