Support the festive fundraising sale in the Meeting Room of the Visitor Centre at Rushcliffe Country Park on Wednesday 7th December from 10am to 3pm. The event is by registered charity Friends of Rushcliffe Country Park (FoRCP). Resident volunteer carpenter Roger Byrne is holding an ‘Animal Craftwork Sale’ of carved items he’s made using his bandsaw – also his creative skill. One of the best known characters in Ruddington’s retail community has left his post – after more than seven years as Operations Manager for a Nottinghamshire brewer. Nottingham Brewery has confirmed the departure of Andy Heath due to the imminent sale of The Frame Breakers pub on High Street – which the company has owned and run for the past six years.
