Community Choir Celebrates Ten Years

It may seem like only yesterday that @RUDDINGTON_info Tweeted out an invitation to join a brand new village choir – but it was actually way back in February 2012!  This month is the tenth anniversary of Ruddington Community Choir‘s very first workshop. The lovely, musical milestone was celebrated by its current members this week during their usual Tuesday evening rehearsal at Ruddington Methodist Church. Planning for the Platinum Jubilee

Next year Britain will be celebrating The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Right now Ruddingtonians are being asked how we’d like mark our longest ever serving monarch’s milestone here in the village. Ruddington Parish Council is starting to organise events to mark Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II‘s seventy years on the throne, which are to be celebrated from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June 2022.
