Village Centre Traders’ Trick or Treat!
Ruddington businesses are helping families to get into the Hallowe’en mood this weekend with their very own ‘Trick or Treat’ trail around our village centre. Co-ordinated by Alex Preston of The Bottle Top (pictured), this Saturday’s event (29th October 2022) has been organised as a safe and fun way for our village youngsters to fill up their baskets and buckets. Alex explains: “23 Ruddington traders have bags of sweets and treats ready for you to collect. Look out for the posters in participating shop windows – or pop in to collect a list…

Ruddington’s popular, monthly market will be back this July – after being suspended for the past three months due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak. However, for those…

Those taking part are encouraged to get out their scariest costumes and pick up their ‘Treasure Map’ from The Bottle Top at 3pm. The map will pinpoint all the businesses taking part – plus other areas in the village where participants may be able…

An informal networking event which has been bringing business people together in our village for over eight years has announced another change of venue. From this month, Ruddington Business Partnership will be meeting a little further along Wilford Road at number six – a slightly more “trendy” venue now called The Next Episode – which is also run by Mark and Sarah Anderson of The Ruddington Arms. Prior to this, it originally started in an upstairs room at Philo’s Delicatessen on High Street. Event organiser, Shamshad Walker, recalls: “We were very lucky to…
