Villagers are invited to “a feast of family fun and football” – the community, charity soccer match which takes place in Ruddington every Boxing Day. As usual, it’s being staged by Ruddington Village Colts Football Club at Elms Park – on Monday December 26th 2022 – and kicks off at 11.00am. After being cancelled by COVID-19 last Christmas, spectators are warmly welcomed back to Elms Park on December 26th 2021 at 11am for what promises to be a feast of family fun and football. Motorists attempting to get in and out of our village via the A52 this afternoon have found themselves diverted following a serious accident on Loughborough Road. Emergency services were scrambled to the A60 in Ruddington at around 2.50pm today after reports of an overturned car. Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue said that it involved just one vehicle in collision with a tree.
