Boxing Day Charity Football

Villagers are invited to “a feast of family fun and football” – the community, charity soccer match which takes place in Ruddington every Boxing Day. As usual, it’s being staged by Ruddington Village Colts Football Club at Elms Park – on Monday December 26th 2022 – and kicks off at 11.00am. The teams comprise a mix of Ruddington coaches, parents, players, family and friends. A charity soccer match – which traditionally takes place in Ruddington every Boxing Day – returns this year. After being cancelled by COVID-19 last Christmas, spectators are warmly welcomed back to Elms Park on December 26th 2021 at 11am for what promises to be a feast of family fun and football. Boxing Day Crash in Ruddington

Motorists attempting to get in and out of our village via the A52 this afternoon have found themselves diverted following a serious accident on Loughborough Road. Emergency services were scrambled to the A60 in Ruddington at around 2.50pm today after reports of an overturned car. Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue said that it involved just one vehicle in collision with a tree.
