Detectives investigating a report of two cars being stolen following a burglary in Ruddington have arrested a man as part of their enquiries.
Officers were called to a property along Flawforth Lane on Monday 7th September after it was reported that car keys had been stolen in a house burglary and the cars then taken from the drive.
Nottinghamshire Police has been working to establish the circumstances of the incident and are reporting that, earlier today, a 27-year-old man was arrested in Derbyshire on suspicion of burglary in connection with the report.
Detective Sergeant Lauren Morgan says: “Nottinghamshire Police is committed to tackling burglary and thoroughly investigates all reports made to the force. We are now questioning a man as part of our enquiries into the report of burglary from September the 7th”.
Sgt Morgan adds: “While we are pleased to have made an arrest, our enquiries are still ongoing into this incident and I’d appeal for anyone who may have any information on the burglary to get in touch.”
