Leia Looks Back on 2022 Summer Holidays

What a whirlwind 2022 has been for travel writes Ruddington’s Leia Morales. Two and a half years after starting my business as a Travel Counsellor and the world of travel is back to normal (almost!).

This summer saw my customers reaching all corners of the globe and enjoying exploring new countries or finally being able to visit family. By far the most popular destination for my customers has been the USA, with Orlando proving my top seller. I’ve had a family drive over 2000 miles around the west coast of America in a motorhome. While other families have reached the top of the Empire State Building in New York.

Elsewhere in the world I had the pleasure of planning a safari to Kenya, where a mother and son got to see the Big 5 and camped out in the Maasai Mara.

A not-so-newlywed couple finally got away on their honeymoon to Mauritius, where they were treated like royalty. After the tour operator they previously booked with ceased trading, I was able to help a couple recreate their itinerary to Canada and helped them get their money back for their cancelled trip.

As for my own travels, this year has been the year of cruises. Never having been on one before I have now cruised with 3 different cruise lines and highly recommend the experience for the convenience and luxury at sea.

No matter where my customers have travelled, they have been given my personal service throughout. Find out more at www.travelcounsellors.com/leia.morales.
